This Smartphone Maker Will Beat Samsung and Apple to Selling a Creaseless Folding Display

Oppo’s upcoming foldable flagship, the Find N6, is expected to have one of the smoothest inner displays of any folding phone so far.

Leaks and teasers suggest that the crease on the Find N5 successor’s display is almost invisible, rivaling the crease-free display Samsung revealed at CES earlier this year. The phone is said to feature a book-style design, with a large internal LTPO AMOLED panel and a tall outer screen. A new hinge design and a flexible glass layer work together to keep the panel taut when the phone is opened.

Oppo executives and marketing teasers in China focus heavily on the crease problem, saying the Find N6 addresses one of the biggest complaints people still have about foldables.

Inside, the Find N6 is said to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. A decent-sized battery (5,800–6,000mAh) and fast wired charging are likely. On the back, Oppo has confirmed a 200MP main camera with Hasselblad tuning, with multiple secondary cameras for ultrawide and telephoto shooting.

The Find N6 will run ColorOS based on Android. Oppo has begun teasing the phone in China, and leaks suggest a launch in March 2026, with a broader release in other markets to follow. Apple is also expected to release its first-ever foldable phone with a creaseless screen.
